Experience the city like a local

The Roho spirit will carryover to your experience in Arusha. Many visitors of Tanzania only experience the bush and the beach, and miss out on more local experiences. Having such deep roots in the city of Arusha, Roho will help you experience the city like a local.

You’ll learn about our favourite places to eat, shop, relax, and play. Visit the busy clothing markets, try out some of the local cuisine, visit a local school, take a tour of a coffee farm, and golf lovers can even enjoy a round of golf at Kilimanjaro Golf - an 18-hole championship course nestled between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, owned by Peters father and uncle.

Tanzania’s very own paradise is just an hour flight away

When you think β€˜Tanzania’ you may only think wildlife safaris, however, Tanzania is home to Zanzibar - an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, just 25–50 km (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland. Zanzibar consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba Island.

For those looking for a quiet, relaxing beach vacation, we recommend Pemba Island. Less busy than Unguja, Pemba Island has a much more secluded feel. For a mix of relaxation and the option of a little more adventure, we recommend Unguja Island, which is home to Stone Town - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an outstanding example of a Swahili trading town. This type of town developed on the coast of East Africa, further expanded  under Arab, Indian, and European influences, but retained its original elements, to form an urban cultural unit unique to this region.

Whichever island you chose, you can expect to dip your toes into some of the whitest sand in the world, and enjoy the pristine, crystal clear waters that kiss the shoreline.
